How do you pronounce 'Aime', the French name?

You say it kind of like (ah)(me)

but quickly lol

How do you pronounce 'Aime', the French name?
actually you pronounce it like this for a name in french.

A-may. The A should sound like it is pronounced in the word "plate"

and the "may" should sound exactly like the month of may.

Put the two together and you get "Aime"

If it is the french word for love. "Aime"

then it sounds just like this "Em" like the first two letters in the word " Emperor..

hoe that helps
Reply:If it is the present conjugation of the verb "aimer," then you can simply pronounce it as:

"m" with a slight tendency to add an "eh" before it, making it sound more like:

"ehm"

If you were looking for the participe passe version of the word, it would have an accent aigu on the last "e" and the pronunciation would have an "ay" after it, making it sound like this:

"ehm - ay"
Reply:The French girls' name is usually spelled Aimée and pronounced as mimistar17 described it.
Reply:Amy.
Reply:Sounds like "J'aime" so I'd say "aim".

But there was a name like that which sounds like "ah-yee-mah".
Reply:Amy
Reply:ehmme
