A friend of mine from southern France made it for me and I would like to make it this weekend. So I need the name of it and then I will search for the recipe on-line...:)
I'm looking for the name of a French dish: kind-of a thick crepe on the bottom with berries on top????
I think Christopher is right. Emril has a wonderful recipe for that too, with pears I think.
And Alice Ann, I think, Christopher is probably one of the best people to have on your side here on YA.
I admit, I gave him a hard time at first for always putting the "professionally trained " thing on here, but the guy knows what he is talking about.
Further, he has helped me in anything from cooking to some really messed up family things.
I personally love Christopher and hold him in the highest esteem on YA. He is the one person I would want to have in my corner for many reasons.
Reply:That's called a Clafoutis (KLA-foo-tee) and it's basically pancake batter poured over fruit in a greased casserole dish~it's easy to make as falling asleep.....If you need a recipe, email me at my 360 profile page......BTW, cherries in season right now (think: Bing or Ranier) make killer clafoutis.
Christopher
And thanks, Libby, for the support!!!!
