Anyone out there able to help with French name pronunciation?

Baudelaire - how would one say it?

(Bonus question:

Anyone know of a superior English translation of Baudelaire's (complete) Les Fleurs du Mal? It seems like there isn't a definitive version that everyone can agree on.)

Anyone out there able to help with French name pronunciation?
hi I'm fench = ) . Pleased to help you. You are supposed to pronounce bough-deh-lair all at once but in insisting more on the first and the third syllabus, than in the second one. Good luck
Reply:bo- de- lair.

i don麓t know about the translation, perhaps you could try in amazon.com or in alibris ( a site with rare books, new or used ones).

i suggest to try the aliance francaise site too.
Reply:boud e leghe
Reply:Bood eh lair

Reply:For the translation, it's best to just read it in the original language. Translating poetry really isn't translating at all. It's writing a new poem that's similar to the original.
