How do you pronounce the French baby girl name Oceanee?

Say it like you see it - Oceanee

How do you pronounce the French baby girl name Oceanee?
I have to agree with the others- if you don't know how to pronounce it don't choose it. Plus as a few others have said it is Oc茅ane not Oceanee.
Reply:Spelled "Oceane"

Pronunciation:

(o say AN)

Meaning:

From the ocean

I love french names, I do like this name. I like the fact that it means from the Ocean. Oceane Ariel would be nice.
Reply:Yes definitely it's Oc茅ane, not Oceanee (I'm French). It's a pretty name, but it's a little pretentious in France :

Oh-sseh-ahn
Reply:I could be wrong, but I would have pronounced it:

"Oh sheen nay"

And I'm not crazy about it because it would always cause prn. and spelling issues. I would suggest only using it for a middle name.
Reply:Its OC脡ANE not Oceanee

o-say-AN
Reply:Ocean-ay

like the French name Renee, the "ee" on the end make the "ay" sound

is that really a French baby girl name? I highly doubt it =/
Reply:O-SAY-AH-N

I don't like it.
Reply:A british person would probably say it like Ocean-ay.
Reply:Oh-see-anee

And yes, i think it is very unique and VERY cute...!
Reply:Oseeaanee
Reply:Ocean-nee
Reply:OH-SHE-ARE-NEE
Reply:I would never name my daughter something that no one knows how to pronounce.
Reply:Marielle Oceane
Reply:Ocean-Aye

Yes its pretty xx
Reply:ocean-ee
Reply:Oh say ah nay

  1. Correct spelling is Oc(e-acute accent)ane which is the feminine form of Oc(e-acute)an. Pronunciation is OH-see-ann (with a barely noticeable, tiny nasal "eh" on the end depending on region). Popular nick is O.C.
