I was named Josee is it weird because its a french name and am English?

Giving a child a foreign name is quite common. Just take a look at many of my students (I'm a teacher) who are foreign-born (usually Mexico), but are given Anglo/English names. Unfortunately, many times, the spelling is quite "off". Look at "Treicy" for "Tracy" or "Yonatan" for "Jonathan"

Nah. I think it's cool. Anyway, it's common for people to give their child a name that doesn't originate from their own race.
Reply:I'm not sure what your nationality could possibly have to do with your name...

It's a beautiful name, btw. It's not weird at all, having a French name and being English.
