Sweet French name for a teddy bear for my boyfriend?

My boyfriend and I are both sentimental, and I got him a stuffed bear when I went on vacation.

Now that I'm back, I want to give it to him, and name it something in French, because he loves anything French and hopes to go to France someday.

Any ideas of what to name this bear? Something sweet and in French :)

thanks!

Papillon. It means butterfly. Its pronounced Pah-pee-yohn
Reply:French children always use the term "nounours" (like we say teddybear). Its pronounced noo-noor-s, said rather rapidly. It is a way that many younger children say "ours" (oor-s) which means bear in French. I guess it'd be the equivalent of "teddy" for a teddybear in English. I always find it cute when I hear kids say it. In Quebec its Toutou (too-too) instead of Nounours

But if he takes his bear to France when he visits and doesn't want the kids to tease him when they discover its name... ;-) You can simply name the bear with a French name like Jacques, Pierre, or Jean-Luc :-)
Reply:This is one of the FEW lines I remember from my highschool French class...it was a term of endearment, so I was told....excuse me if I misspell it...

"Mon Petit Chou"

Or just Petit Chou.....Pronounced "Peh-tee shoe"

It means " My little cabbage" I always thought it was cute.
